When you come to Kenya as a volunteer
we advice you to see how the things are going before you
start with all your enthousiasm. Check what the duties of
the staff are, what the rules are, how the day is going.
We don't
expect our volunteers to work very hard but to give efforts
during 4 days of the weeks to spend with the kids. Help the
mama's of the home to care about the children and keep the
house clean. You can play with the children help them with
home work, take them to the beach nearby, take them for a
walk or play football at the play ground.
We do
understand that you would love to discover Kenya in your
free time now that you are here and that the weather may
reduce your energy level below your normal level...
Therefore we will be happy to see you giving efforts for 4
days and spend 3 days of the weeks for your own pleasure.
However keep the rules when you stay in the home.
